Cory Wanless, one of Ernst’s attorneys, said that although other residents of the Rosebud area have experienced similar problems with their water wells, “we haven’t discussed the possibility of a class action.” Although Ernst’s attorneys have been in talks with all parties involved, Wanless said a settlement in the case is unlikely because it would likely compel Ernst not to publicly discuss the case. “There’s always a possibility to settle. But Jessica is not doing this for the money, but for the truth to come out.” [Emphasis added]
